- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Wash the green beans thoroughly and pat them completely dry with a clean kitchen towel. Trim the ends off the beans.
- In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and garlic powder if using. Add the green beans and toss until they're evenly coated with the oil mixture.
- Spread the green beans in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they're not overcrowded.
- Roast for 12-15 minutes, tossing halfway through, until the green beans are tender-crisp and slightly browned around the edges.
- Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh lemon juice. Toss gently to combine while the beans are still hot.
- Serve immediately while warm and crispy.
Notes
For the crispiest results, make sure green beans are completely dry before tossing with oil. Don't overcrowd the baking sheet - use two sheets if making a larger batch. Reheat leftovers in oven to maintain crispiness.
