Ingredients

Ingredients
  • 4 ripe peaches, halved and pitted
  • 1 ball of burrata cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Method

Instructions
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Brush the peach halves lightly with olive oil.
  2. Place the peach halves cut-side down on the grill. Cook for 2-3 minutes until they develop grill marks and slightly soften. Flip and grill for another 1-2 minutes. Remove from the grill and let them cool slightly.
  3. Arrange the grilled peach halves on a serving platter. Tear the burrata cheese into pieces and place it over the peaches. Scatter fresh basil leaves on top.
  4. Drizzle the salad with balsamic glaze, honey, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Serve immediately while the peaches are still warm.

Notes

Choose ripe but firm peaches for the best flavor. Enhance the balsamic glaze by reducing balsamic vinegar in a saucepan for a more intense flavor. Add toasted nuts like almonds or walnuts for extra crunch.
